The bath complex project “Vosparenie” is located on the premises of the “Vdokh” hotel.
It consists of wooden houses with saunas, built using a unique log construction technique. As part of our experiment, we used half logs, manually creating the hewn sections and log intersection joints. The experiment was highly successful.
In this project, we combined traditional log construction with an additional structure required by the concept. To achieve a unique architectural design, we created a conical building that houses a communal sauna and two separate relaxation rooms.
The complex was built using energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies. The use of natural wood, a special log construction method, and combined structural solutions help retain heat, minimize energy consumption, and create a comfortable indoor climate. The insulation used is STEICO Zell, a natural wood-based material with high vapor permeability, which helps maintain an optimal indoor microclimate.
The construction features only natural and environmentally friendly materials that are safe for health and contribute to a comfortable atmosphere. Cedar logs, used as the primary building material, are not only highly durable but also release phytoncides, which have beneficial health effects. The STEICO Zell insulation, made from wood fibers, provides reliable thermal insulation without harmful chemicals.
The sauna in this complex has become a landmark feature of the region. It attracts visitors eager to see the unique log construction technique and enjoy an authentic and relaxing experience.
